Write an Expression for the Maximum Height Achieved by the Ball on the Moon
Dragon Ball is without a doubt one of the most popular manga and anime series in history. The story of Son Goku's journeys and adventures in the fantasy world created by Akira Toriyama has attracted a global following that still enjoys those stories, both old and new. Dragon Ball has a lot of different concepts that are essential to the franchise and its understanding, one of which are the Super Sayian levels present that some characters can transform into.
As far as we have managed to identify, there are 17 Super Sayian levels in the franchise and we have decided to make a list for you in today's article. Our list is going to include all the Super Sayian levels, ranked from weakest to strongest, as have been identified in the franchise itself.
Super Saiyan Levels Ranked
Pseudo Super Saiyan
Debut: Dragon Ball Z: Lord Slug
Appearance
In this form, the user's iris and pupils are no longer visible. Their body bulges a little, their hair almost straightens, their skin color also appears to be yellow, but there is no significant change in the characteristic other than a red tint on their hair (due to the reflection of the yellow aura that the black hair actually has not the color red).
Whether this is actually part of the shape is unknown as the physical appearance can be situational due to the dark lighting of the film's aesthetic. The user receives a yellowish aura wave that is largely indistinguishable from a Super Saiyan aura, but contains additional white ki waves that sometimes resemble the base aura.
Usage and power
The Pseudo Super Saiyan form gives a large power increase, enough for Goku, who was being easily beaten previously by Slug, to now quickly overwhelm him. However, it is implied by King Kai that even this state would be unable to defeat Great Namekian Slug.
During the battle against Lord Slug, Goku's strength began to quickly deteriorate. Having no more options, Goku's anger rose, causing him to gain a massive power increase, manifesting his Super Saiyan powers and making him become like a Super Saiyan, enough to quickly overwhelm Slug. Still, this was the Pseudo Super Saiyan form.
The form faded after a while; more specifically, Goku seemed to regain his usual self when Slug ripped his arm off and regenerated it. This may suggest Goku was not in his usual state of mind, as indicated by his pupil-less eyes and his erratic attacks. Due to its power and Goku's behavior, King Kai mistakenly identified it as the actual Super Saiyan form presumably due to it matching the legend.
Super Saiyan
Debut: "Life or Death" (manga) / "Transformed at Last" (anime)
Appearance
The most noticeable physical change is that the Saiyan's hair turns golden blonde and appears to be standing on end, giving it a soaring, flame-like appearance. This applies to all of the Saiyan's hair except (in most cases) the tail, including scalp hair, eyebrows, and fur when they become a Great Golden Ape. The natural eye color changes to greenish-blue, the muscle tone becomes clearer, and the skin tone (and clothes) become lighter, mainly due to the energy and light output of the golden aura.
When the body's natural floodgates are opened with the transformation, excess energy is radiated from the body in the form of a pulsating, flame-like aura. There is also a noticeable change in personality where the Saiyan becomes unusually aggressive and more inclined to act spontaneously. It can be noted that in Dragon Ball Online, if a Saiyan character is bald, they will get a mohawk of golden hair when they become Super Saiyan.
Usage and power
While the physical change is not too drastic aside from a slight increase in muscle mass, the increase in power output is colossal. Akira Toriyama stated that when writing the manga, the shape should be 10 times what Goku had previously achieved. In Daizenshuu 7, the shape is said to multiply the Saiyajin's level of proficiency by 50 times its normal amount, which Toriyama personally considered to be an exaggeration.
In Dragon Ball Z: The Anime Adventure Game, the multiplier for the form is 2.5 times the normal performance of the user, which is a rare occasion when the multiplier was precisely defined. The shape multiplier seems to have changed in Dragon Ball GT. When Goku uses the Super Saiyan form against General Rilldo, the mutant machine indicates that Goku's strength has increased to just over double his base form, and that in previous guidebooks the 50-fold performance boost mentioned should simply be a theory.
This form was achieved by Goku after witnessing Frieza killing his best friend Krillin. In this form, Goku's power far surpasses that of the evil alien tyrant, which is made even more impressive by the fact that Goku could not keep up with him before the transformation, even with the Kaio-Ken multiplying his power by 20 times. This suggests that the transformation multiplies the user's power by well over 20.
To combat Goku's sudden burst of strength and power, Frieza used 100% of his strength, of which he only used half, to stop Goku's 20-times multiplied (by the Kaio-ken) Kamehameha attack. Although he appeared to be gaining the upper hand while Goku holds back, he loses confidence when he realizes his attacks are no longer debilitating and Goku is just shrugging off his strongest blows. This is evident because, in his 100% final state, Frieza had gained strength and speed, but had also increased in energy until his damaged body could no longer cope with the force he controlled.
Super Saiyan Second Grade
Debut: "Beyond the Super Saiyan" (manga) / "Super Vegeta" (anime)
Appearance
This stage is similar to that of the standard Super Saiyan form with subtle differences. The flowing, golden hair becomes a little stiffer and paler. Muscle mass also increases significantly, but is not enough to weigh the user down and reduce mobility, allowing the Saiyan to maintain his agility and coordination. As a result of the muscle build-up, the Saiyan's outfit is also torn in the upper body area (with the exception of Battle Armor), as demonstrated by the transformation of Future Trunks into shape in the fight against Broly, resulting in his jacket being torn to pieces.
The aura increases in size and becomes more jagged, accompanied by a bioelectrical discharge during transformation or in preparation for a massive attack like the Final Flash. The aggressive, ruthless behavior of the initial transformation is magnified; any control over emotions evoked by the heightened competence of the Super Saiyan transformation is removed, and the energy required to maintain the state becomes noticeably higher compared to the regular Super Saiyan state, reducing its effectiveness. This deficiency forced Goku, and in turn, Vegeta and Trunks, to abandon the form for good.
Usage and power
Vegeta and Future Trunks first reached the Super Saiyan level of second grade during training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. It took Vegeta two months of training to achieve the transformation. Vegeta took advantage of this state to battle Cell in its semi-perfect form, the result of his absorbing Android 17. Goku achieved this form instantly in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, along with Future Trunks' own third-grade Super Saiyan state.
He demonstrated this ability to Gohan before converting to a Super Saiyan Third Grade. Shortly afterward he recognized the weaknesses of these forms. Only in the anime did the second grade Super Saiyan form seem to reappear when Vegeta and Future Trunks battled the Cell Juniors (in the manga, Vegeta and Future Trunks were regular Super Saiyan, but in the anime they appeared to have enlarged muscles on multiple points). Unfortunately, his strength was only enough to fight the miniature clones at eye level for a short time.
However, they were relieved in their fight by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 state, who dispatched every single Cell Junior with effortless blows. The second grade Super Saiyan form also appeared in two Dragon Ball Z films: Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan and Dragon Ball Z: Bojack Unbound, used by Vegeta and Future Trunks during their respective conflicts. The form briefly appears in Dragon Ball Super when Future Trunks remembers his training with Vegeta in the hyperbolic time chamber. Vegeta shows his newly achieved transformation, very much to an impressed Future Trunks.
Super Saiyan Third Grade
Debut: "Trunks Steps In" (manga) / "Trunks Ascends" (anime)
Appearance
At this stage, the Saiyan looks similar to the legendary Super Saiyan shape, but is smaller. The Saiyan's skin can become a little reddish due to increased blood flow, and muscle size is increased to the point of impracticability. The Saiyan's hair becomes bigger, spikier, and spreads in different directions. The aura no longer flows upwards, but penetrates outwards, whereby the bioelectricity fluctuations become more frequent and clearer. Sometimes the pupils and iris temporarily disappear during the transformation.
One notable difference between the two forms, however, is that, unlike the legendary Super Saiyan state, the Super Saiyan Third Grade maintains the user's size after puffing, which is especially evident with Future Trunks, where after accessing the form, he is about the same height as Cell like before he transformed, yet with Broly transforming, he was significantly taller than even his standard form, not to mention much taller than the various Saiyan opponents even compared to beforehand.
Caulifla's version is a little less bulky than male Saiyans, although she still has a strong, muscular female physique with an hourglass figure and pronounced abs, traits that would presumably apply to other females Saiyans in their third-grade Super Saiyan form. Although Caulifla in this form has a little less mass than a male Saiyajin, their muscles still have enough mass to interfere with their movements, which shows that female Saiyajins can still be affected by the excess weight of their muscles, even though they are slightly less mass than men that the increased muscle mass is proportional between men and women.
Usage and power
According to a source, the Super Saiyan Third Grade form is weaker than Super Saiyan 2, which is two times stronger than Super Saiyan, while according to another source, Super Saiyan Third Grade is ten times stronger than the previous form, although the user is slowed down considerably. This form pushes the power of the Super Saiyan to its limits. Believing he had passed his father Vegeta in strength, Future Trunks switched to his Super Saiyan Third Grade form to fight Perfect Cell immediately after Vegeta was defeated.
Although he managed to hold his ground for a while and Cell even admitted that Trunks outdid him in terms of sheer strength, Future Trunks was also unable to defeat Cell as he was unable to match his speed to keep up. Due to his inexperience with these transformations, Future Trunks did not realize that his bulky form would affect his fighting ability, a trait later noted by Goku and Cell. Future Trunks was informed by Cell that Vegeta was also aware of this downside and that is why Vegeta did not use the Grade 3 Super Saiyan form.
Also because of the weight of the muscles, it takes a lot of force and effort to make them move. Therefore, in this form, the user gets tired very quickly. Trunks' use of the form in Dragon Ball Super might suggest that it is stronger than Super Saiyan 2. It's a double bluff that leads Vegeta to believe that Trunks attempted to bridge the power gap between Father and son with an imperfect shape.
Super Saiyan Full Power
Debut: "The Emergence" (manga) / "Meet Me in the Ring" (anime)
Appearance
The form is basically still the Super Saiyan form. However, thanks to the ability to use the form as a natural state, the user's eyes and facial features can become relaxed and even happy. In addition, their aura changes somewhat, which reduces the radiant energy in tandem. Additionally, their aura alters somewhat, making the radiating energy become reduced in tandem, shown visibly by the aura becoming smoother into a steady flow of waves rather than rapid bursts of spikes. As it is still essentially the first grade of Super Saiyan, the general traits all remain the same. In the anime, The user's hair is often portrayed as yellowish-white, rather than the iconic yellow-gold of a regular Super Saiyan.
By conditioning themselves to remain transformed for extended periods of time, the Super Saiyan can desensitize themselves to the negative effects of the transformation. Their wild emotions are kept in check allowing them to stay more focused, which results in a more strategic fighting style and pattern of thinking, andki consumption is reduced to negligible amounts. This energy-conserving methodology allows them to devote their critical energy to other necessary tasks during combat whilst spending the duration of their time in a relaxed state or simply carrying out normal everyday tasks.
Usage and power
This form brings the power of the Super Saiyan to its limits and can exceed the previous limits of the Super Saiyan power. According to one source, the power of this form is equivalent to Super Saiyan Third Grade, but without the drawbacks. Goku is the one who came up with the idea of bringing the Super Saiyan form to a natural state in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber and explains that they need to get rid of the instability and restless feeling.
While other Saiyans in the series were never really directly mentioned, they seemed to have gained that mastery later. Future Trunks had reached this form when he faced Future Cell. Goten and Trunks both easily achieved Super Saiyan form and appear to have mastered it at a young age. When Gohan enrolled in Orange Star High School, he had to deal with some bank robbers. To prevent his identity from being discovered, he turned into a Super Saiyan and received the title of Gold Fighter. On his first day in high school, he had to face another gang of robbers and turn himself into a Super Saiyan again. After hearing his classmates talk about the mysterious gold fighter who resembles him (mostly the clothes he wears), he decided that using Super Saiyan as a means of disguise was ineffective and instead opted for a new disguise.
The fusion form of Goten and Trunks, Gotenks, seen late in Dragon Ball Z, easily gained the ability to transform into a mastered Super Saiyan as well as Super Saiyan 2 and Super Saiyan 3. Likewise, Caulifla was able to consciously manifest the Super Saiyan form for the first time in Dragon Ball Super and also stay calm as always to achieve Super Saiyan 2 in the anime. Cabba also achieved Super Saiyan 2 in the anime, indicating that he mastered Super Saiyan. This form is used by Goku and Gohan in Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan. It continues to appear in all of the other Dragon Ball films right up to Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon.
Super Saiyan 2
Debut: "Gohan Unleashed" (manga) / "Cell Juniors Attack!" (anime)
Appearance
The golden hair that was brought about by the original transformation becomes spikier and stands up even more. Some users like Gohan, Goku, Vegito, and Bardock have some of their bangs rise with the rest of the hair. Increased energy radiation causes the aura to take on a jagged, violent flame-like appearance rather than smooth or flowing. Since the energy output and radiation are higher than that of a Super Saiyajin, the aura pulsates at a higher frequency.
The muscle mass is barely increased, but the energy output is multiplied by more than the regular Super Saiyan transformation. so that larger amounts of the Saiyan's increased energy reserves can be used immediately for much more powerful energy attacks without the later onset of exhaustion. In contrast to the Super Saiyan Third Grade state, in which the muscle mass swells so much that the user is hindered, the speed is increased proportionally.
Another notable feature of the shape seen in images from the manga, some scenes from the show, and almost all of the Dragon Ball Z video games, is the aura of electrical discharge. Lots of electrical sparks (usually blue, but gold in Dragon Ball Z: Budokai 3 and Dragon Ball Heroes) surround the body all the time, especially when charging. They're not always present, however (especially in the anime; Gohan and Vegeta completely lack the feature in some episodes) and sometimes appear on a super-charged Super Saiyan (like Vegito), causing some viewers to see the regular Super Saiyan form with a confused Super Saiyan 2.
In Dragon Ball Super, Future Trunks' hair as Super Saiyan 2 does not change from his Super Saiyan in the anime version, a trait that was carried over to Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2. In the manga version, however, his hair stands up and becomes spiky. In Dragon Ball Heroes, Gogeta's Super Saiyan 2 is noticeably different from his Super Saiyan form. The hair becomes spikier and a little longer, which makes it very easy to tell the difference between the two shapes, while Vegito's Super Saiyan 2 has the same visual look from young Gohan. Super Saiyan 2 from adult Gotenks is just as prickly as Xeno Trunks. Bardock's version of the form is most notable as it has the hair of a regular Super Saiyan.
However, it has been corrected for Xeno Bardock, who has two side bangs, one of which is longer in the middle. In the manga version of Dragon Ball Super, Future Trunks' Super Saiyan 2 looks almost like his Super Saiyan shape, with the exception of the two thin bangs that frame his forehead and disappear. Cauliflas Super Saiyan 2 points her hair all the way up, leaving the lower part over her shoulders. Your bangs are separated from each other, with two on the sides and one in the middle, similar to Goku's Super Saiyan 2 shape.
Usage and power
In the anime, Zamasu states that this form increases the user's power ten times beyond Saiyan's basic state. According to some guides, the Super Saiyan 2 is twice as strong as the first Super Saiyan form. According to Goku, Gohan technically transformed himself into this form for the first time during his training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber; Gohan was too exhausted to hold shape when he first transformed. This is why Goku knew of this power before Gohan turned into it during his fight with Cell, and also why Goku decided that if anyone had a chance to defeat Cell, it would be Gohan.
The first time Gohan fully achieved and maintained Super Saiyan 2 form came after witnessing the Cell Juniors attack on the Dragon Team and the death of Android 16 by Cell. Not long after, Cell also achieved the Super Saiyan 2 form, dubbed the "Super Perfect Form", through Saiyan Power as a result of self-destruction. The power of the Super Saiyan 2 form jumps well beyond the power of the Super Saiyan, Super Saiyan Second Grade, and Super Saiyan Third Grade. Perfect Cell and Bojack, who both could easily dominate the second-grade Super Saiyan forms and were stronger than the Super Saiyan powers even without access to their full strength, were easily butchered by Gohan in his Super Saiyan 2 form.
However, when Gohan fought the Cell Juniors in his Super Saiyan 2 form, he effortlessly killed them all with simple single blows without being affected by their strongest attacks. Gohan continued to fight, severely injuring Perfect Cell with just two blows, even after the android had unleashed its full power. However, in a Kamehameha match against Super Perfect Cell, Gohan had a very difficult time as he broke his left arm from the attack by Super Perfect Cell while defending Vegeta after attacking Android in order to kill his son revenge (an explosion that was stated to reduce Gohan's performance to less than half its normal amount), with the manga also implying that Cell did not put his full power into the explosion when he injured him. With only the help of Goku and Vegeta, Gohan had to summon enough power to destroy Super Perfect Cell.
Legendary Super Saiyan
Debut: Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan
Appearance
The appearance of the Legendary Super Saiyan differs significantly from the regular forms of the Super Saiyan. In Dragon Ball Z: Broly – The Legendary Super Saiyan, the hair color is yellowish-green. When Broly's hair unfolds its full strength in this state, it changes from a green color to the golden shimmer of an ordinary Super Saiyan. Bio-Broly always has golden hair in this form.
In some other iterations, Kale's Super Saiyan C-shape, and Broly's Legendary Super Saiyan initially have golden hair that resembles a Super Saiyan. When transformed into the Legendary Super Saiyan and his higher level in the anime, Kale's hair is solid green and her eyebrows are still yellow like regular Super Saiyans. With Broly in Dragon Ball Super: Broly, when brought to his Full Power Super Saiyan shape, his hair and eyebrow colors are completely light green, indicating that each user of the shape has a different shade of green.
In the full-color manga, as well as some of the promotional materials for the Broly movie and for most of the battle in the weird swirling lights dimension in the movie itself, the form has full strength golden hair like an ordinary Super Saiyan (but slightly darker) tone in the colored one manga).
The most noticeable difference between the shape of the legendary Super Saiyan and the regular Super Saiyan is height. When a Saiyan transforms into this shape, his body grows in height and his muscle mass increases dramatically, making him look like the third grade Super Saiyan transformation. Unlike the third-grade Super Saiyan, this final form of Super Saiyan actually increases the user's height. In Broly's case, he is said to be three meters tall.
Usage and power
This form is first awakened with intense sadness. In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, Broly takes this form by becoming a Super Saiyan while already in his Wrath State. Interestingly, Kale doesn't need the Wrath State to become Super Saiyan, possibly because the Saiyans of Universe 6 evolved to no longer have access to the power of the great apes, or because the Wrath Form is not necessary to become Super Saiyan. As noted by Cabba and Caulifla, this form is known in Universe 6 as the demon Saiyan who rages and whose power grows steadily – eventually to the point where he kills it, which means the transformations cannot be used long without risk of death if this is the case.
The form is also an extreme example of a transformation based on power and therefore predictable and easy to circumvent despite its high speed. When the form affects the health of the user, performance and speed drop dramatically. The Legendary Super Saiyan Form is an activated version of the first Super Saiyan Form. If you take enough damage in this state, the user will return to the previous form. It is similar to the third-grade Super Saiyan, but unlike the Third Grade, the Legendary Super Saiyan's speed is "ultra top notch". This shows how Broly in this form managed to effortlessly dodge a combined front of both Goku and Piccolo with several maneuvers. Also, unlike Super Saiyan Third Grade, the form has a significant increase in the user's height.
The increase in strength that results from this shape is unconfirmed, although according to a guide this shape is stronger than an ordinary Super Saiyan but weaker than Super Saiyan 2. In this form, Broly's strength, speed, power, energy and stamina increase dramatically, exceeding the power of the Dragon Team at the time they fought him. Because his strength level is so massive in this form, Piccolo explained that Broly's ki can be fully felt from Kami's vantage point. Broly has been shown to make extremely powerful attacks without flinching, which means he was at least twice as strong as the individual Z-fighters who fought him. According to V-Jump, Broly's level of power in this form during his battle against the Z-fighters on the new planet Vegeta was around 1,400,000,000.
Super Saiyan 3
Debut: "Super Saiyan Level 3!!!" (manga) / "Super Saiyan 3?!" (anime)
Appearance
The transformation causes some profound changes in physical appearance. The hallmark of the transformation is the user's hair: the stiff hair of the Super Saiyan 2 state becomes flowing and sleek again and grows down to or sometimes past the user's waist (unless the user in question is bald, in this case, the user remains bald). For users who already had hip-length hair in the basic shape, the hair also extends under the feet.
Super Saiyan 3's hair color is still golden blonde but takes on a darker and more yellow shade of gold than the previous Super Saiyan shapes, which were a paler shade of gold when not surrounded by an aura. The eyebrows disappear completely, making the forehead and the edges of the eyes appear larger and a more prominent forehead crest becomes visible. These traits do not apply to female Super Saiyan 3. When used by an old evil Saiyan like Cumber, this shape does not appear to add significantly to the user's hair length.
A small increase in muscle mass is evident and muscle tone is sharply defined. The user's voice also tends to suffer in this form. The energy radiation is so great that the aura pulsates at an extremely high frequency, almost to the point where it appears static. The sound of the aura is also even higher than that of Super Saiyan 2. The electrical discharge is constant again as in the Super Saiyan 2 form and can reach further outwards from the body than before.
There is no personality change as no emotion is required to initiate the transformation (Goku acted stoically to intimidate Babidi and Majin Buu, and Gotenks acted as he normally would). Another notable change is that in this state the user appears to "glow" more than before when the skin and clothing color has been lightened, but not as much as the change in color of this shape.
Usage and power
The shape uses the full potential of a Saiyajin, drawing strength from every drop of his blood. This shape pushes the hidden power of its user to its limits, but is flawed in that it consumes enormous amounts of energy. The Super Saiyan 3 shape gives the user four times the strength of a Super Saiyan 2, so the strength of a Super Saiyan is multiplied by eight times.
In order to transform into a Super Saiyan 3, the Saiyan must already be in the previous Super Saiyan form and push as hard as possible to find the energy deep within. Then he has to use this energy so that he can undergo the transformation. Goku uses the Super Saiyan 3 transformation in a short fight against Majin Buu to hold him up long enough for Trunks to find the dragon radar.
He was able to overtake the monster and almost matched him stroke by stroke. He eventually withdrew from the fight when he wanted Goten and Trunks to defeat Buu using their fusion technique, as he "wouldn't be there forever". Goku later stated that he believed he could have killed Buu if he had actually tried, but he fully trusted Gotenk's ability to destroy him if they tried the fusion dance.
The Super Saiyan 3 state was really pushed to the breaking point in the last fight against Kid Buu. Despite using his full might as Super Saiyan 3, Goku struggled to compete with the Majin's seemingly endless power supply. Although he seemed to have the advantage for most of the fight before the ki drain became apparent, his attacks on Buu seemed useless, and the transformation eventually caused his breakdown from exhaustion.
He later revealed that he could potentially have destroyed Kid Buu at full strength, but let the fight drag on to give Vegeta a shot. Vegeta then climbed up on a Super Saiyan 2 to give him the time it took Goku to regain full strength, but the immense stress of gathering his strength forced him to return to his normal state before leaving reached his maximum potential, leaving him severely drained and unable to transform.
It took a super ghost bomb collected from all energies on earth, the ogres in Yemma's office and the Namek villagers who stayed at Moori on New Namek to take down Kid Buu, and the Super Saiyan 3 form is in that The main thing is to never see the manga storyline again.
Golden Great Ape
Debut: "Goku's New Power" (anime) / "A Rival Appears?!" (manga)
Appearance
This state is achieved by Saiyans who have a tail along with the ability to become a Super Saiyan. By looking at a full moon or a full planetary body (sunlight reflected from a planet also creates blood waves, since Goku used the "full earth" for transformation) the Saiyan can transform. Since the user is essentially a Super Saiyan ape, their fur is gold in color and stands on end, much like a Super Saiyan's spiky hair.
However, the user's appearance is identical to that of a normal great ape (with the exception of great apes, Ape Baby, whose blue-colored eyes may be due to Baby's mutation with Vegeta's body). Additionally, a golden, crackling aura is sometimes visible around the user.
Usage and power
The power of the golden ape is multiplied and far surpasses that of an ape in all areas. The shape is also more powerful than the Super Saiyan 3 transformation. In this state, a Saiyajin's power and strength increase dramatically and continue to grow. They have the same abilities as the great ape, only more powerful and destructive, and the height of their anger is so high that they can cause great destruction.
In Dragon Ball Z: Scouter Battle Taikan Kamehameha – Ora to Omee to Scouter, Golden Great Ape Baby is about 1.2 times stronger than Super Baby Vegeta 2. The user's berserk state also rises to the point where it becomes uncontrollable; in this state, Goku was more than a match for Baby, but couldn't focus on fighting him. Vegeta, who was still infected by Baby, turned into a golden ape and was able to carry out ki-blast attacks in this state. Purebred Saiyajins (like Goku and Vegeta) who unlock this form and are able to either gain or maintain their sense of identity and thus also control their powers can use this form to reach the level of Super Saiyan 4.
Vegeta – who had complete control over his standard form for great apes – admitted that he could not become a Super Saiyan 4 when he first transformed into a golden great ape, as he was controlled by Baby at the time and thus part of Tuffle and while the Shadow Kite was Saga was able to overcome the form's berserk state and advance to Super Saiyan 4 shortly thereafter.
This shape is first shown by Goku in the Baby Saga of Dragon Ball GT, where he uses it by staring at the "full earth" after regaining his tail, and then overpowering the strongest Baby Vegeta of the Shape 2 until Pan manages to get him to regain his sense – transforming into Super Saiyan 4.
Baby Vegeta himself uses the form thanks to the Blood Wave Generator developed by Bulma to fight Super Saiyan 4 Goku, but loses when this Super Full Reached Power Saiyan 4. During the Shadow Dragon saga, Vegeta attains this form – and thanks to his royal legacy and control of the state, he instantly becomes a Super Saiyan 4.
Cumber uses this form during his battle with Vegito in the prison planet saga of the Super Dragon Ball Heroes to gain an advantage over Vegito's Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-ken. His transformation is later interrupted by Super Fu, who uses the surprise blade (spiked with a power ball) to restore the Saiyan to his basic shape.
Super Saiyan 4
Debut: "Back in the Game" (anime) / "The Mightiest Heroine, Note!!" (manga)
Appearance
In this form, the Saiyajin's hair color differs, the same applies to the tail, and the body is covered with red fur. A Saiyan in this form also has a shadow border around his eyes and over the eyelids that varies in color, such as crimson. The hair is elongated as it gets wilder and reaches the center of the back, while two long, pointed strands of hair appear on either side of the neck.
It also makes the individual considerably larger in size and muscles, as demonstrated by Vegeta when his time limit ended and he returned to his considerably smaller size. The aura in this form loses the arcs, which in turn are shaped like a normal Super Saiyan aura (although in various video games the aura has been depicted as reddish with a little yellowish tinge and sparks of bioelectricity).
In the case of the Fusion Dance warrior Gogeta, the coloring of the above features seems to change as Gogeta's hair turned a light shade of red while his fur turned a dark shade of brown and the rim around his eyes was black instead of red. Its aura also has yellow glints. Broly's Super Saiyan 4 transformation is quite similar to the Super Saiyan 4 transformation of Goku, Gohan, and Vegeta.
All of them have very long black or dark hair, reddish-colored fur and a red outline around the eyes. The main differences, however, are that Broly uses his legendary version of the Super Saiyan 4 transformation, which has no visible pupils in the eyes and has massively oversized muscles. In this form, there is also a yellow-colored aura.
Usage and power
The Super Saiyan 4 form is a compressed version of the great ape power that pushes the power of its user to its utmost limit. While Goku's Super Saiyan 3 form couldn't even bother Baby Vegeta, once Goku transformed into Super Saiyan 4 and grew up again in the process, their power roles became reversed.
At the time of its debut, Super Saiyan 4 was the most powerful form in the entire series. However, it is noted that Vegito may have been even stronger than Super Saiyan 4. This transformation enables users to use more powerful signature techniques. For example, Goku develops an attack he calls 10 times multiplied Kamehameha because it is ten times (10x) stronger than the Super Kamehameha; Gogeta in video games uses a powerful combined attack called 100x Big Bang Kamehameha, and Broly has an attack called Gigantic Destruction.
Nevertheless, the user can carry out the regular variants of his signature techniques if he so wishes. Like the Super Saiyan God form, this form also appears to allow the user to absorb energy attacks. However, unlike Super Saiyan God, the Super Saiyan 4 form does not consume the user's power when absorbing energy attacks. This is shown when Goku absorbs the Great Ape Baby's Revenge Death Ball finale and turns it into a 10x Kamehameha.
Super Saiyan 4 also enhances the user's Saiyan power in what appears to be real-time, as he was frozen by the shadow dragon during Goku's battle with Ice Shenron and Nuova needs Shenron's help to escape. After that, however, Goku adjusted to Eis Shenron's next use of the attack and was completely unaffected by it when he immediately escaped while completely unfazed by the event.
Goku also noted that the same technique didn't work twice for him. Later, against Syn Shenron, despite being blinded by ice after being recharged by the other Saiyajins' ki, Goku adapted so completely to Syn's previous attack that he simply used his other senses to react effortlessly to all of the Shadow Dragon's attacks could. In contrast to the load on the Super Saiyan 3 due to its use in ki, this form doesn't need as much energy to sustain as Super Saiyan 3, so the user can stay in the state for much longer.
Although the form doesn't take a lot of energy to use or maintain, the user can still fall out of the form when it gets low, similar to Super Saiyan 3. And although its ki consumption doesn't burden the user himself, it will it is exhausting in connection with fusion dance the fusion time limit is shortened considerably; how Gogeta defused within ten minutes instead of the regular half an hour.
Super Saiyan Rage
Debut: "Zamasu's Ambition The Storied "Project 0 Mortals" of Terror" (anime)
Appearance
In the official anime artwork of the form, the user simply looks like the Super Saiyan 2 appearance from Future Trunks and has a golden aura. In the anime, the appearance of the Super Saiyan Rage form is primarily similar to a standard Super Saiyan 2. The aura is golden with a blue tinge around the user's body, like an inverted version of the Super Saiyan Blue aura. His aura now emits particles similar to those emitted by the auras of Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan Rosé.
Its aura also emits dense, blue flashes of bioelectricity, but even bluer, denser, and angrier than its Super Saiyan 2 form. His hair is pointed even further than in his Super Saiyan 2 form and takes on an even more golden color than the Super Saiyan 3 form. When he transforms, his muscles build up similarly to Super Saiyan third grade before the blue glow appears around his body and his muscles go back to normal.
When he experiences great anger in the form, his irises and pupils are temporarily invisible, similar to Pseudo Super Saiyan and Legendary Super Saiyan. After Trunks absorbed the energy and hope of humanity that had banded together in a ghost bomb, he achieved a new type of power-up in this form by coloring his aura completely blue and his body creating a blue energy aura around himself, similar to when Goku performs the Spirit Bomb part of the Super Dragon Fist attack in video games that gives the user a blue aura.
Usage and power
The Super Saiyan Rage form differs in that it is represented similarly to both Super Saiyan and Super Saiyan 2. As in Wrath Mode, this Super Saiyan form enhancement is achieved through intense anger. In the anime, Future Trunks gets it due to his absolute anger at Goku Black and Zamasu, who blame him for everything that happened. The power of this shape allows Future Trunks to hold his own against Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black and Future Zamasu at the same time.
When Future Trunks takes on this form, he will first become a Super Saiyan 2, his eyes then going blank as his appearance changes to that of his forceful form before a blue aura overtakes him and his muscles return to their normal size and complete the transformation. While he had previously managed to outperform Future Zamasu and catch Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black with his Super Saiyan 2 form unprepared (after training in the past), the performance enhancement of the Super Saiyan fury allows Future Trunks to take on Super Saiyan claim Rosé Goku Black.
Later he meets Super Saiyan Rosé Goku Black and the immortal Future Zamasu at the same time and forces them on the defensive through a strategy to separate them. Future Trunks uses the mold to hold the two off alone, while Goku and Vegeta return to the present to find a way to defeat Black and Zamasu. After Future Trunks is defeated and treated by Future Mai, he uses this form again to fight the pair.
He knocks off Future Zamasu with a single explosion and defeats Goku Black with a relentless attack. This shape also enabled Future Trunks to have enough stamina to seal Future Zamasu with the Evil Containment Wave. During the fight against Fused Zamasu it is shown that this state can increase even further through the energy of people all over the world and achieve a massive boost in performance. This force could easily destroy Fused Zamasu's body.
This form is very similar to the state of the anger mode as both are massive powerups of the Super Saiyan 2 form that temporarily hide the user's eyes and are accessed through anger. The Super Saiyan Rage form, however, involves the use of the stressed power state in its use, while the Quake of Fury power-up does not.
Super Saiyan God
Debut: Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods
Appearance
The "Super Saiyan God" is the legend among the legends of the warrior race, the Saiyajins. The power of six kind-hearted Saiyajins must be placed in order for one of them to become this legendary form. As Shenron was confirmed to the Dragon Team and Society, a single super Saiyan god on the planet Vegeta that the Saiyans found, but he failed and the time limit of form.
The Namekians were well aware of the Super Saiyan God and wrote in their book of legends about the method of hearing the shape. When in this form, the Saiyan's general appearance has only slight differences: the most notable change is the slight pink skin tone (similar to the usage of Rage Mode) and hair that is a shade of red. In this form, Goku has magenta hair, while Vegeta has purple hair. Hair belongs to its own style, is seen differently. The Saiyan's eyes become detailed and the iris turns red. The entire body structure looks in frame and physique is called and thinner. The aura of the Super Saiyan God departure of a raging fire. A Saiyan becomes cool-headed in this form.
Usage and power
At the time of its debut, Super Saiyan God was "a being that surpasses all". The power of this form is great enough to allow Goku to compete against the under-powered god of destruction Beerus, who effortlessly defeated Super Saiyan 3 Goku. The sheer force of the collisions of Goku and Beerus' fists made the whole universe ripple, and Old Kai realized that just three blows could wipe out everything in the universe without proper control.
The Broly Light novel states that the Super Saiyan God possesses a vastly superior dimension of power compared to the form of the Super Saiyan. However, this powerful form has disadvantages: it takes the user some time to fully utilize its power and the user's energy reserves are depleted relatively quickly. Super Saiyan God also has a short time limit on which it will seamlessly disappear. But even after Goku's time limit expired, his actual power did not decrease, so that he could continue to fight the God of Destruction on his plane in his basic and Super Saiyan form.
Beerus speculated that due to his experience and his adaptation to the feeling of the Super Saiyan God, Goku was instinctively able to get involved so that he could unconsciously access his power to some extent, which seemingly negated the power consumption. After his fight with Beerus, Goku continued to work on his remaining effect and eventually mastered the power of this form.
Essentially, this shape can be used to complement Super Saiyan Blue by instantly switching between the two shapes. This is because Whis says that Super Saiyan God is faster than Super Saiyan. While Super Saiyan God is used for movement, Super Saiyan Blue is used for attack and defense. This way, Vegeta was able to maintain his stamina much more easily than Goku Black, keep up with him, and later gain the upper hand in their fight. Goku noted that this could only be achieved through extreme training.
Super Saiyan Blue
Debut: Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F'
Appearance
This shape is almost identical to the first Super Saiyan shape. The only main differences are that the hair and iris are now cyan in color (although the iris takes on a slightly darker color than the hair). In Dragon Ball Super: Broly, the hue is much darker, similar to Vegeta's evolved state. Unlike the previous divine form, the Saiyajin's physical form remains pretty much the same.
In the manga, the state initially appears without sparks in its aura, but obtains them after Goku and Vegeta's training in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber. Super Saiyan Blue offers a vibrant, fiery, electric blue aura in contrast to the bright orange aura of Super Saiyan God. The aura that surrounds the Super Saiyan blue shape also seems to glitter somewhat, with tiny sparkling energy particles traveling up the flames and occasional electrical surges. On closer inspection, a very subtle yellow glow can also be seen on the outside of the aura. It wasn't directly stated why this was there, but it could be remnants of the original Super Saiyan transformation.
This two-tone aura is similar to that of the Super Saiyan Rage form from Trunks. Unlike the major Super Saiyan transformations, the user's body does not glow in blue form with no aura. Most of the transformations that follow act like an ordinary Super Saiyan, with the user's hair rising up and turning blue. When a Saiyan is bald, he simply gains a Super Saiyan blue aura, although his eyebrows, like any other facial hair, still change color.
Usage and power
In Goku's words, this form is what happens when a "Saiyan further transforms into a Super Saiyan with the power of a Super Saiyan God". It is simply the first Super Saiyan form combined with the power and crimson divine ki of a Super Saiyan God who has turned cyan due to a mortal absorbing it.
The shape can be obtained from a Saiyan who has become a Super Saiyan God and then retains power; if the Saiyan harnesses the power of the Super Saiyan God and then tries to transform into a Super Saiyan, they will naturally evolve into a new Super Saiyan instead (Super Saiyan Blue or Super Saiyan Rosé, depending on the status of the individual). Alternatively, as shown in the anime and seen with Goku Black in the manga, the Saiyans can evolve their standard Super Saiyan form into a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form as they increase their strength. According to Dragon Ball Z: Extreme Butōden, Super Saiyan Blue is the most powerful of all Super Saiyan transformations. This form offers its users the ki of a god.
The shape takes the power, strength and speed of the user to a new level beyond previous Super Saiyan levels, as well as a calm mind that makes it and its ki lighter compared to other Saiyan forms like Super Saiyan 3. That way, Goku can push his way to Kaio-ken x10 and later x20. This allows them to fight freely within the form with no ki drain and to be reserved for ki based attacks. Both Goku and Vegeta state that a calm mind and focus are required to use this form properly. The divine ki of form renders the Saiyajin's own ki insensitive to most mortals via the ki sense, and only those who know how to perceive the divine ki can recognize it.
Despite the tremendous performance increase of the form over the original Super Saiyan god, neither Goku nor Vegeta could challenge Beerus alone and had to fight together to stand a chance. This shape wasn't initially strong enough to defeat Golden Frieza with full force either, but due to Goku and Vegeta's experience with the shape, Super Saiyan Blue was able to outlast Golden Frieza compared to his unmastered transformations thanks to his efficient ki and endurance performance. This form becomes stronger through training, as Goku was able to bring Golden Frieza to power at their next meeting, despite the fact that Frieza himself was found to have become stronger.
In fact, it is even able to increase its strength with sufficient combat strength. This is shown in the fact that the next time Goku was easily repulsed by Jiren, he could keep up with him and make him fight more seriously. Due to the perfect innate ki control of this form and the calm mind required for it, this form can be combined with the Kaio-Ken to create the Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken in the anime. Despite its advantages, the Super Saiyan Blue form consumes a lot of stamina the first time it is unlocked.
Super Saiyan Rosé
Debut: "Rematch with Goku Black! Enter Super Saiyan Rosé" (anime) / "The Zero Mortal Project" (manga)
Appearance
In the anime, this state is identical to the first Super Saiyan form, as well as Super Saiyan Blue in all colors except black – black hair takes on a pastel pink color with faint white reflections, with the user's eyebrows corresponding to the color of their hair and their eyes becoming light gray. The aura has a very dark red tone on the outside, but changes to a pink color on the inside; while the aura is in place, Goku Black's (since he is the only one who can access this form) clothes become lighter, while his eyes appear pink and the color of his hair and eyebrows take on a slightly darker shade of pink (because he is illuminated by the aura) and he gets a dark purple glow on his body.
Using this shape also seems to greatly improve Black's techniques, including his Super Black Kamehameha and his signature Violent Fierce God Slicer, so he can expand them into a variety of more sophisticated shapes. His other techniques also change their usual appearance to match the color of the shape. In the manga, the shape of Super Saiyan Blue differs in the same way as the anime. The aura is more jagged and flame-like than the aura of Super Saiyan Blue. In a close-up of Goku Black, his hair looks spikier. However, this is the case with all characters that are enlarged.
As a result, some have falsely stated that the hair is pointed and changed more than it actually is. When Goku Black in the Super Saiyan rose form merged with Future Zamasu with the Potara earrings to become Fused Zamasu, and later (in the manga) merges into Infinite Zamasu, the result is a being that is constantly and permanently in the Super Saiyan rose is shape due to fusions created with Potara earrings that automatically take on the transformed state(s) that the fuses were in at the time of the merger, and the resulting merger was incapable of them off-form.
Since Super Saiyan Rosé serves as the dark equivalent of Super Saiyan Blue, divine ki is used. As such, this shape is believed to be pink in color by Future Zamasu, as it is the result of a deity that surpasses the Super Saiyan God (with blue being the result of a mortal who surpasses it).
Usage and power
In the January 2017 issue of V-Jump, both Goku Black and Fused Zamasu were rated 12/12 on the danger scale in this form. In the manga, since it is a Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, this state is achieved in the same way as its mortal counterpart. Goku Black reached the form when his Super Saiyan power surpassed Super Saiyan God and naturally evolved his Super Saiyan form to Super Saiyan Rosé. In the anime, he won the form by simply incorporating Goku's fighting style into his own.
The Dragon Ball Super anime and Dragon Ball Fusions do not refer to them as the Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan form, but rather as Goku Black's version of the first standard Super Saiyan form. This form, like its mortal counterpart, provides Black with the precise ki control required to properly use and maintain this form. However, unlike its mortal counterpart, Super Saiyan Rosé's ki control is so precise and efficient (due to Black's status as a divine being) that he was able to craft various energy weapons at will.
Unlike Super Saiyan Blue, which required additional training to fully master it, this form does not show any decrease in endurance. Goku Black is shown using the form as often as he wants with no drawbacks, possibly because he has already mastered Goku's power and because he was born a divine being and all he has to do is use his power in that form to increase further. This shape also doesn't seem to affect the amount of time Fused Zamasu can stay fused, unlike Super Saiyan Blue Vegito, which was defused long before an hour passed.
In the anime, Black Super Saiyan revealed Rosé for the first time in his battle against Vegeta, Goku, and Future Trunks. Black was attacked by Vegeta as Super Saiyan Blue and withstood his vicious attack before finally spearing him through the chest with his energy blade. He then fought Goku when he turned into a Super Saiyan Blue. Goku managed to hold his own, but Black used his energy blade to put pressure on Goku.
After his ally Future Zamasu held Goku and Trunks long enough, Black was able to defeat them both with a single explosion of the Black Kamehameha, which the Saiyans barely survived. In the super manga, Goku Black achieves this form by evolving his regular Super Saiyan form: by booting up massively as he is recovering from a near-death experience (and allowing Future Zamasu to heal the damage), Goku Black's ordinary Super Saiyan form switched on and then evolved into Super Saiyan Rosé.
Super Saiyan White (theoretical)
Debut: None
Appearance
Super Saiyan White is an advanced form of Super Saiyan transformation and the final natural evolution of the Super Saiyan God form. Considered the purest form of a divine Saiyan, the 'Super Saiyan White' form is almost unrivaled in terms of strength and places it above a 'god' and on the level of an angel such as Whis or Vados. It replaces Super Saiyan Blue as the "ultimate transformation of the Saiyan race".
Similar to Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue, the Super Saiyan White transformation represents a significant change from the Super Saiyan transformation that a typical Saiyan uses. It is physically similar to the original Super Saiyan transformation, but the hair is a light silver color, highlighted in vivid cyan, and the eyebrows match the hair. The eyes, on the other hand, become dull blue. In this state, the aura is just a bright white flame highlighted in the same cyan of the hair. The sparkle and flash of the previous forms have disappeared due to the intensity of the divine ki.
Usage and power
This transformation was based on a fan theory that had been around since the Resurrection of 'F' movie and is theorized to be the final form in the evolutionary line of the Super Saiyan God. Super Saiyan White is the final evolution of the "Concept" of Super Saiyan. To achieve this Super Saiyan form, a Saiyan must first accept their anger, and as Super Saiyan Blue, a Saiyan learns to deviate from his emotions by controlling and refining them.
When a Saiyan achieves Super Saiyan White, the Saiyan overcomes the anger itself – breaking away from raw emotions and worldly worries and becoming a being with pure intent. This changes the flow of the Saiyan's ki and triggers this new transformation. In this state, a Saiyan's ki changes drastically, resembling that of an angel in its signature – a ki with no ki, as described. If those without divine ki try to attack a Saiyan in this form, they cannot harm them because of that ki.
In this form, a Saiyajin's skills are greatly enhanced and they gain an innate understanding of combat and ki so that fighting becomes second nature to them and ki attacks can be completely negated. They are also given the ability to form the angel's robe which gives them unique abilities created by this halo. They also acquire the ability to sense killing intentions, much like the angels and Hakaishin themselves can.
Ultra Instinct Sign
Debut: "Goku Enkindled! The Awakened One's New Ultra Instinct!" (anime) / "Sign of Son Goku's Awakening" (manga)
Appearance
When a male Saiyan enters this state, his hair is a little more spiky and firmer, with silver highlights and often with loose strands. His eyes take on a stricter, defined shape, with silver-colored irises and visible pupils (similar to Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan God). It also receives a complex silver, purple, and blue aura made up of rippling, fire-like energy, along with sparkling particles that move upward similar to Super Saiyan God in front of it. In the manga, the user slims as well as Super Saiyan God.
When a Saiyan takes this form, their hair stays the same, albeit with a silver sheen. Namekians, Earthlings, Bio-Androids, Core People, and Demon Realm Race members simply get silver eyes in this condition. Without any further changes, members of the Frieza Race will get the silver eyes and silver organic gemstones, as well as adding as you do in the state of Golden Frieza, while Majin gets dark blue eyes in that form.
When switched on, it creates an explosive blue glowing aura around itself and another straight transparent one that shoots upwards. This creates an incredibly powerful tremor and blows away its surroundings due to the overwhelming raw energy.
Similar to other forms, the more intense the power-up, the greater the aura, until it stabilizes. Goku's voice also gets deeper and rougher like his Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan 4 forms. In contrast to other forms, Goku is surrounded by an aura even without being switched on, a blue and very thin one that outlines his entire body.
Usage and power
Goku achieves this state by breaking his "self-limiting clams" (his limits) and unlocking the deeper potential within himself. This is achieved in the anime by resisting an exceptionally powerful attack, while in the manga it is the culmination of all of Goku's martial arts training by various masters. Initially, the shape can only be used for a short time, only moments in the manga.
It is not known if this shape will become more powerful than the Super Saiyan shapes along with the normal skill level of the user. When Goku revealed this form against Moro, Piccolo couldn't tell if he was stronger than the last time he used it. He could clearly see that Goku's perfect Super Saiyan blue was stronger than on previous occasions.
The greatest strength of Ultra Instinct Sign is that it gives the user the Autonomous Ultra Instinct ability, which enables them to automatically and instantly respond to any threat using the most appropriate and seamless means of defending and attacking. One notable weakness of the form, however, is that while it has incredibly increased agility, its raw attack strength is comparatively less incredible.
In the anime, this state elevates his abilities to a divine level far greater than that of the X20 Super Saiyan Blue Kaio-Ken state, and its expanded mental parameters allow him to shape the fight quickly and tangibly without thinking about it. In promotional materials for the anime, Goku is recognized (either in the final use of Ultra Instinct Sign or in its full state) as possibly superior in power even by Beerus.
In the manga, this state is superior to Blue Kaio-ken and is compared to Vegeta's Super Saiyan God SS Evolved, developed by Jiren. Similar to Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue, this form uses god ki and can only be perceived by other deities. In the anime, in addition to instinctive fighting style, the Ultra Instinct Sign status significantly increases Goku's Saiyan strength ability, allowing him to steadily develop his strength and efficiency with each exchange while continuing to fight an opponent of equal or greater strength.
Autonomous Ultra Instinct
Debut: Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods
Appearance
This form is essentially the same as the initial state of Ultra Instinct Sign, although the user's hair turns silver. The hairstyle is a little wilder and firmer than normal, with no loose strands. The eyes take on a stricter, more defined shape, with silver-colored irises and visible pupils.
In the manga too, the user generally has a focused, but a calm expression. In the anime, the user is given a complex silver and blue aura made up of rippling, fire-like energy made up of sparkling particles of a magenta color. In the manga, the user first gains the complex silver and blue aura, which consists of rippling, fire-like energy, without the sparkling particles of magenta color. After the user gains sharper control over the condition, the aura ceases to exist.
Even in the anime, the user's muscles remain practically the same size and definition. In the manga, the user's muscles are slimmed down like the Super Saiyan God. When the user first successfully converted to Autonomous Ultra Instinct, a "shell" of black and bright white covers the body before crumbling as the hair fades from bright white to gray. A similar effect was observed with Super Saiyan Blue.
In the anime, the extreme energy of transformation tears off the user's clothes on his torso, while in the manga his clothes are left untouched. In Toriyama's artwork and Super Dragon Ball Heroes (both in-game and manga), the shape of Goku's Super Saiyan God has hair and eyes, albeit silver. In the anime, Goku's movements in this form leave afterimages as they dodge or dodge. His voice also remains deeper and rougher than in the previous state, although he still speaks his own language.
Usage and power
In this form, Goku's power soars, making him the strongest he has ever been in history. He is one of the most powerful units in the multiverse. It is also assumed to surpass the power of gods. In promotional materials for the anime Goku (either in the final use of Ultra Instinct Sign or in this complete state), even Beerus acknowledges that he may be superior to him in his power.
In the manga, after Perfected Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta's quick defeat by Beerus, Whis states that achieving this state would allow Vegeta to face any enemy, including Beerus. This shape allows Goku to hit Jiren with full force as he takes advantage of openings in his guard – which causes Jiren to refer to it as not true strength like his own. Merus later comments that once Goku has mastered this skill, no enemy can overcome him in combat, which essentially makes him unbeatable.
Of course, if the condition is fine enough, it also hardens the part of the body that is about to take a blow. This was indicated when Moro broke his hand and tried to punch Goku in the chest. Throughout the manga, it is said that one must be in complete control of one's emotions so as not to upset the balance of Ultra Instinct. There doesn't seem to be such a risk in the anime, as Goku was able to use anger to increase his power even more.
After Goku, Uubs received divine power and regained his Ultra Instinct state, he demonstrated the ability to create a massive avatar from energy. Then Goku stormed out of the avatar and destroyed Moro's crystal, ending it once and for all. All angels are of course in the Autonomous Ultra Instinct state, so the form appears for the first time when Whis awakens Beerus due to the prophecy of the Super Saiyan God. He first reveals the existence of this condition and its ability for Goku and Vegeta when he trains them before Frieza's revenge.
